We hope that you can get along in our shop without instructions; the following comments might be helpful for you, though:

You can search for a particular product either by selecting the proper product category in the menu at the left, or you can use the search function in the page head.

A link "Show additional information" under the name and short description of a product allows invoking additional information on this product, if available. This information will be displayed immediately below the product entry if your browser supports this functionality; otherwise (in particular, on older browsers) a new tab or window is opened with the information page.

To the right of each product entry you find a block of three shopping cart icons. With each mouse click on the left one of the three icons you can place one piece of the pertinent product into your shopping cart.
The central shopping cart displays the number of pieces you have selected. You can remove one piece with each mouse click on the rightmost shopping cart icon. The latter function is only available if there is at least one piece of this product in your shopping cart.

The links "Show cart" or "Hide cart and "Place an order" in the left-hand menu become active, and the contents of your shopping cart are displayed at the beginning of the page once you have picked up at least one product. You can toggle the display of the shopping cart contents or keep it permanently active.

Shipping and handling:
The fees charged for shipping and handling depend on the delivery address and on the kind and number of ordered goods. You can find the shipping and handling fees for the currently selected goods displayed in your shopping cart. In general, the following fees apply:

We charge increased shipping fees for goods that require special treatment, e.g., for fragile products. Reduced shipping fees apply to products that are simple to ship, e.g., a single CD or DVD.

When you are done with selecting products you can complete your order by providing the necessary information for its processing with the menu link "Place an order". You can choose on the next page whether you want to check out and pay with PayPal® or by bank transfer. Checking out with PayPal® is faster since you have to provide less data. Note that you are also eligible for PayPal's Buyer Protection if you pay with PayPal®. Paying with PayPal® may also avoid large bank transfer fees if you have to make your payment from outside the Euro zone.

Payment with PayPal®:
When you click on the link "Pay with PayPal®" you are forwarded to the PayPal® website. You can either log in with your PayPal® credentials or register with PayPal®. You can specify an arbitrary shipping address on the next page and submit additional information or wishes, e.g., with regard to the terms of shipment, in the field "Note to seller". When you submit your data with "Continue" you are returned to the Cellarium online shop.

You can check your order and your name and address on the next page; you can still change either at this stage. In case shipping and handling fees apply to your order you will find them here, provided we could automatically determine them. We have to ask you for some additional data, in particular, a phone number where we can reach you in case of problems.

We receive your order when you click on the link "Purchase". Unless we still have to determine shipping and handling fees because there is no flat rate defined for your country, we will create a final invoice for you; otherwise, you will receive a preliminary offer without shipping and handling fees. The purchase price will be automatically deducted from your PayPal® account if we could determine the shipping and handling fees, and we will acknowledge the payment in your invoice.

Payment by bank transfer:
We will ask you about your contact data when you click on the link "Pay with Bank Transfer". You may specify different invoice and shipping addresses if necessary, and you may have your purchase shipped to somebody else as a gift. An optional field "Remarks" permits to submit additional information or wishes, e.g., with regard to the terms of shipment.

You can check your order and your name and address on the next page; you can still change either at this stage. In case shipping and handling fees apply to your order you will find them here, provided we could automatically determine them.

We receive your order when you click on the link "Purchase". Unless we still have to determine shipping and handling fees because there is no flat rate defined for your country, we will create a final invoice for you; otherwise, you will receive a preliminary offer.

You will get your invoice or offer in an automatically generated mail; you can also access it immediately via a link on the last order page. In case we only could provide you with a preliminary offer we will send you by mail a second offer including the shipping and handling fees within the next days. Please confirm your purchase then in a reply to our mail; you will receive from us a formal invoice in turn. You will receive a separate invoice in a mail from PayPal® if you chose to pay with PayPal® and we could not immediately deduct the purchase price from your PayPal® account. Please use this PayPal® invoice to transfer the purchase price.

We will ship the ordered products as soon as possible, in any case within 14 days after receiving your payment. We will inform you in writing in case of delays that lie outside our influence, e.g., delays caused by our vendors.

We ship goods only after we have received the full payment of the purchase price. Please refer to the mail or to the invoice for detailed account information.

We ask you to understand the following facts:

• We try to calculate our prices as low as possible for your benefit. This requires, though, that the value of the ordered goods exceeds a certain limit, in our case 10 Euro. We take the freedom therefore to add the difference between this minimum order value and the total price of the products to your order if the total product price is below 10 Euro.
• For the same reasons, we have to add a flat rate for shipping and handling. This flat rate depends on the shipping address and the kind of products ordered. You can find the shipping fee applicable for your order displayed in the listing of your shopping cart.
• Alcoholic products are only shipped to Austria and Germany. Upon placing an order containing alcoholic products, you have to declare that you have reached the minimum age for the purchase of alcoholic products, but at least 18 years, and that the products are intended for the responsible use by adults.

This website has been successfully tested with a large number of current and older browsers. In case you nevertheless encounter problems with your browser - in particular during displaying or hiding the additional product information or the shopping cart contents - you may change into a different operation mode of the website by clicking on the link "Version for the Handicapped" in the page head. This alternative mode has been designed to facilitate the use of reading equipment for the visually handicapped; it is so conservative in its functionality, though, that it also supports unconventional or very old browsers.
